National programmes on a national scale
The key objective of all our programmes is to increase standards of care through standardisation and equity of clinical education. We provide education for leading national education programmes, on a national scale.
National Spirometry Programme; Developed by clinical respiratory specialists, clinical researchers and academics in the UK. Achieve ARTP accreditation in Spirometry with our national Programme.
National Respiratory Education Programme; An all Wales open access educational intervention linking primary and secondary care through digital communications.
National Electrocardiogram Programme; National accredited ECG education, developed by cardiac specialists and accredited by society for cardiological science and technology SCST. The key objective is to increase standardisation and quality of ECG reporting.
“A collaboration between RHIG, ICST and ARTP has enabled Wales to successfully deliver ARTP spirometry training across the whole country and to monitor in real-time down to a practice level, the status of every trainee along this process. Wales therefore leads the way in this field. We intend to use this approach to deliver education programmes across a range of subjects within respiratory medicine.”
