Delivering equality of access to healthcare education to change healthcare outcomes

Working with and on behalf of the Welsh Government and the National Respiratory Health Implementation Group, we offer a range of bespoke respiratory courses for every NHS Wales employee. The National Respiratory Education Programme (NREP) has been developed to support and empower clinical and managerial staff in primary and secondary care across Wales.

Objectives

Empowering the workforce to share best practice reducing inappropriate variation

Identifying the problems through audits and reviews is only the first step. The NREP shares best practice, supports and entertains. The key objective of the NREP is to educate people working throughout Wales in conjunction with the key priorities set out by the Respiratory Delivery Plan for Wales.

Benefits

Equity of education

The NREP provides equity of education to reduce inapropriate variation of services and to raise standards of respiratory care across Wales. Equity of access to education, learn anywhere, anytime. Mobiles, tablets. Intuititive and engaging. Delivered by local specialists that know the problems.

The important thing is that it doesn’t come as something we can’t work with. It needs to be presented in a way that can be quickly understood, and can help us change the way we work as doctors and other members of the team.
