Evaluation of 300 nurses and healthcare workers and the rates of completion of four distinct elements of an accreditation programme for spirometry – e-learning, face-to-face workshop, e-portfolio and an observed structured clinical event (OSCE).
The primary aims of this research are:
To analyse the uptake and completion rates of the four distinct elements of the programme for each candidate enrolled on to the programme.
Qualitative analysis of supervisor perceptions of performance following the intervention.
The secondary aims of this research are:
To assess the value perceptions for each element of the programme.
Correlation between learning and development and the national and local strategy.
